The team consists of nearly 50 members, including over 10 high-end experts. The proportion of team members with Master’s or PhD degrees exceeds 40%. The frontline personnel performing the work are senior technicians with over 7 years of experience. 1. TCM Non-Clinical Evaluation Branch of National Engineering Research Center for Modernization of Traditional Chinese Medicine
The TCM Non-Clinical Evaluation Branch of National Engineering Research Center for Modernization of Traditional Chinese Medicine, is a non-clinical evaluation and research platform for TCM jointly established by the National Engineering Research Center for Modernization of Traditional Chinese Medicine and LEWWIN Institute (the supporting unit) through resource integration and complementary advantages. It aims to conduct research activities focused on the preclinical pharmacology, toxicology, and safety evaluation of TCM, enhancing the engineering research and development capabilities of the National Engineering Research Center for Modernization of Traditional Chinese Medicine.

2. National-Local Joint Engineering Research Center for Ultrafine Granular Powder of Chinese Materia Medica
The National-Local Joint Engineering Research Center for Ultrafine Granular Powder of Chinese Materia Medica was jointly established by LEWWIN PHARM, Zhongshan Zhongzhi Pharmaceutical Group Co., Ltd., and the Research Center for Chinese Medicinal Materials Science and Engineering, Guangzhou University of Chinese Medicine. It integrates the advantageous resources of the three parties based on industrial development needs and the requirement to overcome technical difficulties in the non-clinical evaluation research of ultrafine granular powder of chinese materia medica. Ultrafine granular powder of chinese materia medica involve the use of the whole components for medication, with the medicinal material basis remaining unchanged, conforming to the essence of ultrafine granular powder of chinese materia medica. After breaking the cell walls, the properties, flavors, channel tropisms, functions, and indications of the powder remain consistent with those of traditional powder. Systematic safety studies on ultrafine granular powder of chinese materia medica have been conducted, including but not limited to: Atractylodes macrocephala, Salvia miltiorrhiza, Panax notoginseng, Ligusticum chuanxiong, Codonopsis pilosula, Houttuynia cordata, Angelica sinensis, Astragalus membranaceus, Rhodiola rosea...
3. Traditional Chinese Medicine R&D Department
The Traditional Chinese Medicine R&D Department is jointly established by LEWWIN PHARM and Guangdong Songde Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd. Based on the national-level engineering research center and the resources and technology platforms of both parties in TCM R&D, it comprises a high-level TCM R&D team led by renowned experts in the industry, dedicated to the R&D and evaluation research of innovative TCM drugs.
The R&D Department focuses on TCM R&D and tackling key challenges in the R&D process, such as the extraction of active ingredients from TCM, the testing and control of TCM quality, and the evaluation of key material bases. Through upstream and downstream collaboration with the Sub-center for Non-Clinical Evaluation of Traditional Chinese Medicine, it can provide one-stop, full-chain technical services for the R&D and registration of innovative TCM drugs, classical famous formulas, hospital preparations, and other series of products!

Has established a comprehensive and mature evaluation system for the pharmacology, toxicology, safety evaluation, and pharmacokinetics of pediatric TCM, compound TCM, TCM and natural medicines, as well as ultrafine granular powder of chinese materia medica, capable of providing a full range of non-clinical evaluation research services for TCM.
